About Karma Wellness

Karma has evolved from Karma Massage & Facials into a comprehensive healing center focused on longevity and whole-body support. Building on 17 years of experience as a massage and spa provider, Karma now offers an integrated system of science-backed treatments designed to support how the body heals over time.

Over time, it became clear that no single treatment works in isolation. The body heals best when multiple systems are supported together — movement, circulation, recovery, and nervous system regulation. Karma Wellness was built around this idea, creating a space where different therapies work as a coordinated system rather than standalone services.

The center combines modalities such as cold immersion, mineral mud rooms, red light therapy, and other science-backed treatments into a structured healing approach by reducing inflammation, increasing cellular healing and restore optimum soft-tissue function. As a community-based space, Karma also incorporates group classes alongside its treatment offerings, creating an environment that supports both individual care and shared practice.

Meet the Team

Jing
Owner and Founder of Karma Wellness Center

Jing is the owner and founder of Karma Wellness Center. She grew up in China, where massage and bodywork were part of everyday life — a practical way families supported health, eased pain, and managed stress. Those early experiences shaped her belief that real wellness should be both accessible and effective, not reserved for special occasions.

When she created Karma, Jing wanted more than a traditional spa. She envisioned a calm, welcoming space where modern, evidence-informed therapies and time-honored healing practices work together to support the whole person. From the red light room and salt lounge to contrast therapies and hands-on treatments, every offering at Karma is designed to help regulate the nervous system, improve recovery, and bring the body back toward balance.

Jing knows most people who walk through the door are juggling a lot — work, family, stress, sleep issues, burnout, or chronic tension. Her goal is for Karma to feel like a place where you can exhale, reset, and actually feel a difference in your body, not just enjoy an hour of escape.

For her, wellness isn’t about perfection or extremes. It’s about small, consistent choices that support the body, mind, and spirit over time. Karma exists to make those choices feel simple, grounded, and genuinely helpful in real life.

Tara Fulkerson
Director of Integrated Healing at Karma Wellness

As Director of Integrated Healing at Karma Wellness, Tara Fulkerson helps bridge the gap between how you feel in your body and what you’re carrying emotionally. Her work brings together movement, somatic awareness, breathwork, and emotional healing so people can release stress and patterns that keep them feeling tense, overwhelmed, or stuck.

With more than sixteen years of experience supporting clients in their physical health, Tara saw the same thing again and again: pain, tightness, fatigue, and even burnout often returned if the underlying stress and emotional patterns weren’t addressed. That insight led her to expand her work beyond fitness and traditional bodywork into mind-body integration.

Tara is the founder of Rebuild From Within, a community focused on internal healing and personal growth. At Karma, she weaves that approach into a modern wellness setting — pairing her sessions with the center’s science-backed therapies to help calm the nervous system, improve regulation, and make change feel more sustainable.

She holds a Master’s in Education and certifications in Holistic Health, Inner Child Healing, Sound Therapy, and Breathwork. Tara’s style is practical, gentle, and down-to-earth. You don’t need to be “good at wellness” or have any experience to work with her — just a willingness to slow down, listen to your body, and take the next honest step in your healing.

Kathy XXX
Office Manager of Karma Wellness

I joined Karma in 2014 and have grown alongside the spa ever since. I am deeply committed to supporting both our team members and the clients who walk through our doors. I believe the small details make the biggest impact, and I lead with clear communication, consistency, and genuine care. I strive to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors feels valued, supported, and part of our family. As a parent of two sons, one on the autism spectrum, I've learned that massage therapy and sauna sessions are effective in calming his nervous system and improving self-regulation.
