Sound Healing - The Science…

I stopped counting because I hear all the time, “Sound healing? What? That’s not me… that’s a little woo woo.” 

“Woo Woo, I say.” “Well, let me share a bit about these bowls that are tuned to 432 hz, my intention when I play them and the scientific knowledge about the entire process.”

After my genuine speech, needless to say, many  men and women trust me and lay down and provide me the opportunity to join them on an adventure - “a journey without any expectations.” 

How many times are we let down, frustrated, agitated and downright pissed because of an expectation we had of ourselves or another. 

I mention this because as much as I hear woo woo I hear women expect themselves to “feel” a certain way after the experience just because another time they expressed so much feeling. It’s these moments - these experiences we need to remind ourselves to stop expecting and surrender. Surrender and accept what happens. Wow! Living a life without EXPECTATIONS, SURRENDERING and ACCEPTING- more on a future post.

But first let's go to why 432 hz matters, my intention and the scientific nuggets I know about that actually help heal you as you lay doing nothing but TRUSTING the process I have expounded on.

Sound healing is actually one of the simplest ways to help your body relax because you don’t have to know how to meditate, or force your mind to quieten, but just be as the tones and vibrations move through your body.

There’s also something deeper happening here.

Many of the bowls are tuned to 432 Hz, which is known for being a more natural, calming frequency. People often say it just feels better in the body—softer, more grounding, less sharp.

When I’m guiding these sessions, my intention is everything. A favorite quote of mine is “Frequency + Intention = Healing.”  I’m not just playing bowls—I’m holding a space where I’m intentionally sending love, calm, and safety out into the room. I genuinely look at each participant in front of me and send a personal message from my heart space. 

You may not be able to explain it…
but you’ll feel it.

And lastly, let's discuss my best friend, my nervous system.  The vibrations from the bowls help stimulate your vagus nerve—especially through the ears (auricular stimulation). That’s what helps your body move out of stress and into a more calm, regulated state often referred to as the theta brainwave state.

And this is usually the moment people go…
“Okay… I didn’t expect that.” These moments I refer to as “A-ha” moments, heart wish moments and your truest desires speaking to the most important person, which is YOU.
